CATCH-UP FUND. $14,158.23 has been given so far toward the Catch-Up Fund. The goal is $37,000. Thank you to everyone who has given to this fund to help the church catch up from 2007 in which neither office building generated rent.

 

Taxes for our buildings are coming due soon. Your generous giving is appreciated.

 

NEW MEMBERS. We welcome Shelly Bacon and daughter Breana Bacon  into the membership of First Brethren.

 

THE ADULT VOLUNTEERS for the February Dinner Theatre will meet this morning after church in Vanator Hall.

 

CHRISTMAS BRUNCH FOR WOMEN. Saturday, December 6th, from 10-12 a.m. If you’d like to decorate a table, see Cindy Showalter. More info to follow.

 

THE SEEKER SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS is conducting a study called “God’s word in music.” We listen to a song and talk about its message and how it relates to the Bible.

 

FOOD COLLECTION. The Hopebuilder’s Class is sponsoring a collection of food for All Faith’s Food Bank. Can you bring up-to-date canned or boxed food to share? A collection box is in Vanator Hall for contributions. Fifty-four pounds were taken to the food bank last week.

WEDNESDAY BIBLE/PRAYER MEETING: “Basics of Discipleship.”

 

POINSETTIAS will be ordered to decorate the sanctuary for Christmas. You may order plants in memory or honor of loved ones, to celebrate a special day, or just to help decorate. We ask that you leave them until after the Christmas Eve service. Only those paid for will be ordered. Each plant is $8.25. If paying by check, mark poinsettia” in the memo box. If paying by cash, please use one of the “welcome” envelopes in the back of the pew and mark it “poinsettia”. Fill in below, tear off and place in the offering plate. November 30th will be the last day to order.
